ELTA-GB, the English Language Teachers` Association in Guinea Bissau, was created on 23 August 2014.  The main aim of this national body is to improve the quality of English Language teaching and learning and to promote high standards of language teacher training in Guinea Bissau.

 

We provide a forum for developing teachers, keeping them up to date, and improving the quality of both teaching and learning. This leads to improved results in our classrooms.

 

ELTA-GB has representatives in the eight main regions of Guinea Bissau. We offer a regular forum for the exchange of experiences in pedagogical skills and we promote mutual support among teachers. ELTA-GB has united the regions into a network.
